At what age will you retire? If some, too worried, prefer not to know, others can find out the age at which they can leave with a full pension and the amount of their pension, using the site’s official simulator. info-retraite.fr. The tool was updated on Monday with the new provisions integrated into the pension reform (64 years, extension of the contribution period, long careers, early departure in the event of disability, etc.).

This same simulator had experienced a saturation of the number of connections, during the presentation of the reform last January. After this update, the managers of the simulator once again expected a peak in attendance. A fear which was precisely materialized this Monday, June 12: the simulator broke down again.

The tool, when it works, remains easy to use. To start the simulation, you will need to enter the 13 social security digits, then record all the data concerning your personal situation (date of birth, professional activity, quarters contributed, etc.). Once this information has been entered, you will then be able to know the legal age to which you will be subject, as well as an estimate of your pension depending on the year you wish to leave.

More updates in the fall

“I can find out the age of my full rate, and if I notice that the amount of my pension seems a little low to me, I can go and do a simulation, that is to say start playing with the cursors, to know what the amount of my pension will be if I leave at 66 or 67, depending on what suits me the most, ”explained to BFM Thomas Tracou of Union Retirement, the organization that pilots the simulator.

Other updates are planned by the fall, with the integration of new measures such as that of gradual retirement, further specifies the site of the chain.
