Dr.. Adel Yaqoub Shamaila

A group consisting of a number of dignitaries of European countries, including the Prime Minister of Italy, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, the President of the European Commission, and their friends and relatives went to Tunisia to propose to the Tunisian administration of the International Monetary Fund.
It has been established in the minds of many observers that it is the governments of the world that are administratively bankrupt and then financially inclined towards the International Monetary Fund to borrow from it. The source of this conviction is the Western media and its satellites, which are the media outlets of bankrupt countries.
The news of the long deliberations between Tunisia and the International Monetary Fund aimed at lending Tunisia two billion dollars revealed to us, which contradicts that miserable false conviction of the truth.
Tunisia is going through a complex economic and financial crisis brought on by the rule of the corrupt parties that have taken power since after the demise of Ben Ali’s rule. Where the production and export of phosphates was disrupted due to the competition of party thieves to share it away from the public treasury, and the oil revenues produced by Tunisia were looted. Then the party gangs took control of the wholesale trade, import and export, which enabled them to control the quantities that go down to the markets to raise their prices, which exceed the ability of most Tunisians to buy them. In addition to harnessing the state’s resources to the absurdity of the parties that were subject to the law instead of being subject to the law, and the reluctance of millions of tourists who were going to Tunisia and spending billions of hard currency there, after Tunisia turned into a den and a source for tens of thousands of Syrian ISIS.
In view of the cessation of economic growth and the decline of hard currency reserves, Tunisia submitted a request to the International Monetary Fund for a loan, as it is a contributing member to the Fund, like the rest of the world.
The fund, which was waiting for this moment, initially agreed to the request, but informed the Tunisian government that “whoever asks for a beautiful woman, the dowry will not cost him.” Tunisia inquired about the expected dowry, which is the financial “interest” that is supposed to be the only dowry. The fund presented her with an exact copy of what the fund calls the “economic correction program” as the required dowry.
By reading the document, the Tunisian administration found that the recipe contained in the document matches the recipes that the fund usually provides to borrowing countries, regardless of the different economic and financial diseases that those countries suffer from, starting with the experience of Argentina after its collapse.
And in view of what has become clear, clear, and established that all countries that have taken the Fund’s prescriptions have not been cured of their diseases, but that types of cancers from the seventh stage that are never curable have spread in them, and that their fate is to enter the intensive care room and not leave it, Tunisia refused and still refuses to dose the Fund’s medicine that concentrates To remove the types of subsidies provided by the government, which will raise the prices of commodities beyond the capacity of the middle and poor classes, and the bankruptcy of many industries, livestock breeders and farmers. Raise known tax rates, invent dozens of new types of taxes, fees, licenses, taxes on taxes and fees, and reduce government spending, especially capital, so that the fund guarantees the payment of interest and installments.
This situation will inevitably cause political, economic and social instability, stop or even decline economic growth, increase unemployment and poverty rates, and launch a revolution of the hungry.
The IMF insists that Tunisia plead guilty to a capital crime, sign the IMF-written confession, and accept the verdict without a lawyer and without appeal.
President Kais Saeed remained committed to his position since the beginning of the talks that he would not accept the terms of the fund, and for this reason the Prime Minister of Italy came to Tunisia to persuade him, and then sought the help of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, the sheikhs and mayors of the European Union, and teams of destruction management experts.
In order to open up the appetite of the Tunisian administration to swallow the “poison” medicine, Italy decided to provide aid to Tunisia amounting to 700 million euros.
Of course, Italy and European countries, in addition to America, are the largest contributors to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and thus the beneficiaries thereof. These countries created the fund to serve their goals.
The question is, why was Tunisia forced to request the loan in the first place from the International Monetary Fund?
The answer is that she cannot obtain a loan from any European or American bank, and even from Arab lending institutions and the Islamic Bank, unless she obtains a certificate of good conduct from the International Monetary Fund and its brother, the World Bank. This condition applies to all countries.
We hope that President Dr. Qais Saeed is able to withstand the pressures of international institutions and their supporters, which do not accept that a country revolts and breaks out of the herd. These countries insist on monopolizing growth, progress and prosperity.
This is the news as reported by the British BBC.
Italian Prime Minister Giorga Meloni announced Friday an EU aid package that will be announced by the leaders of Italy, the Netherlands and the European Commission during their visit to Tunisia on Sunday.
The European delegation’s visit comes as donor countries are pressuring Tunisian President Kais Saied to agree to carry out the necessary reforms in order to finalize a loan from the International Monetary Fund that would inject additional funds in the form of bilateral aid.
She met Melonie Said earlier this week. However, the Tunisian president does not show any indication of his willingness to change his position.
