In a family situation that is currently more than tense, refuse a well-intentioned birthday present from your dad, the king? Only Royal dropout Prince Harry (38) dares to do that.

His daughter Lilibet turned two on June 4th. Celebrated with mom Meghan (41) and brother Archie (4) in the emigrants’ villa of millions in Montecito. Quite private, in a small circle and with lemon cake with fruit from the garden. And far away from Harry’s family overseas.

Apparently, her famous grandfather from London also wanted to give the little one a big gift for her day of honor. But what Charles had thought up there was said not to go down well with son Harry.

King Charles III (74) is said to have had his employees “look out for custom-made miniature houses” in the run-up to his granddaughter’s birthday, revealed an insider told OK! magazine. “Similar to the playhouse the Queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls.”

Her grandfather “wanted to give Lili something that she will use and that is hers,” the royal source revealed. It was meant to be “the ultimate surprise” that Harry and Meghan’s daughter would “remember forever”.

She preferred to play in it with her sister, Princess Margaret († 71). It has since played with generations of royal kids in the grounds of the family home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor

A miniature house for little Lilibet to play in? His father is said to have received a NO from Harry for this generous gift idea.

And so the dream of many little girls apparently burst like a soap bubble for Lilibet. Supposedly King Charles III. Taught by his second son to choose a “less extravagant” gift, they say.

It is not known whether a gift from Harry’s dad arrived at all after the announcement.

In any case, his little princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor didn’t even have official royal birthday greetings from the British royal family. It wasn’t because Charles might be pissed off, it was because Harry since “Megxit” ceased to be a working royal in early 2020.
