Several media, including WELT AM SONNTAG, have researched cases of alleged abuse of power in the context of Rammstein concerts. The Rammstein complex follows on from further #MeToo research – and this also raises questions about suspicious reporting by the media.
In this issue of our podcast “Die Medien-Woche” we deal with the research on Rammstein and its singer Till Lindemann. In the meantime, he has hired the law firm Schertz Bergmann – which has already announced that it wants to examine every report of suspicion – the allegations are denied by its client.without exception“.
We also discuss Apple’s announcement of its own glasses designed to consume media and organize work differently. “Mixed Reality” should make this possible, i.e. a projection of digital content into the “real” world. The glasses will initially cost around $3,500 – can the Vision Pro change the media world?
We’re also looking at the forthcoming elections for directors at RBB and we’re wondering whether it’s really a coup that RTL will be showing two formats from Stefan Raab’s production company in the future that were previously shown on ProSieben.
Die “Media Week” is a podcast about the world of media and its makers. Christian Meier, editor at WELT, and Stefan Winterbauer, editor-in-chief of the industry service Meedia, talk about the most important topics of the week every Friday. Background, analytical, entertaining.
