During the day, the two elected first met with opponents of the Fontiers-Carbardès golf and hotel complex project to give them their support. They were then to animate in the evening a workshop of the general states of ecology at the domain of Ventaillole, in Ventenac-Cabardès. Fifty participants were registered.

The farmers accuse the elected officials of doing “agribashing”: “We work 70 hours a week and every day, we are called poisoners”, they lamented, according to The Dispatch. “We are your first defenders. Environmentalists are not the problem. We are here to defend access to water, agricultural land, ”retorted Sandrine Rousseau.
“You don’t talk about us enough”
