Le Secretary General, Bachir Camara with the Deputy Director General of the Cooperation Service in Mining Investments, the coordinator of the management unit of the Project for the Management of Natural Resources, Mining and the Environment and the Chief of Cabinet of the governorate of Kindia, started this Tuesday, June 06, 2023, the work of the training workshop for executives of the Ministry of Mines and Geology, in the management of public-private partnerships. The training takes place in a receptive hotel in the city of citrus fruits.

Nearly thirty executives from the Ministry of Mines and Geology take part in this capacity building for a period of two weeks. It is an initiative of the Ministry of Mines and Geology, supported by the Cooperation Service in Mining Investments, abbreviated as SECIM, which has benefited from the financial support of the PGRNME (Project for the Management of Natural Resources, Mining and ‘Environment).

The aim of the Department of Mines through this training is to enable its executives to acquire fundamental notions on the concepts and the place of Public-Private Partnerships in public investment, while becoming more familiar with the issues often complex that arise in the practice of this contractual mode.
