DCGI approves emergency use of Kovid vaccine for children Kovacs, the Kovid vaccine against Bharat Biotech, has been approved for immediate use. The vaccine is approved for children between the ages of 12 and 18, according to official sources.
Bharat Biotech had earlier submitted details of clinical trials in children aged 2-18 years to the Central Drug Standards Control Organization (CDSCO). The vaccine manufacturer said that the CDSCO and the Subject Expert Committee (SEC) have thoroughly reviewed the data and made recommendations.
