The former winger of the Blues will inaugurate a Handball field at 4 at the Stadium of Villeneuve d’Ascq on June 27th.

Recently retired from the field, Luc Abalo is back in France. After a final experience in Japan, the former French international is slowly converting. In addition to managing his clothing brand and photo studio, he was recently named ambassador for Euro 2024, a competition to be held in Germany.

On June 27 from 10:30 a.m., he will be at the Villeneuve d’Ascq Stadium to inaugurate a 4-a-side handball court. He will be accompanied for the occasion by Philippe Bana, the president of the FFH (French handball federation). As a reminder, the final phases of Hanball at the 2024 Olympic Games will take place in the northern city, at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium.
