Temperatures felt at 31 to 34°C in the North, peaks at 35°C in the South, a humidity rate of 60 to 70%… If the heavy and stormy weather of the last few days is sometimes hard to bear, it makes ticks happy, which love nothing so much as this moist heat. “The number of reports of stings increases between the end of May and the beginning of June and we are currently at the peak”, explains Jonas Durand, engineer in the Interactions trees / micro-organisms unit at the National Institute for Agricultural Research ( Inrae).
