First item on the agenda of tomorrow’s meeting of the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry in National Assembly is a representation of the political cabinet of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The meeting starts at 16:30 on 14 June and will be broadcast online from room 238.
So far, only Tanya Georgieva-Dabnishka, until recently executive director of the Association of Agricultural Producers in Bulgaria, has been approved as Deputy Minister of Agriculture. The other deputy ministers are expected to be Damyan Damyanov, Alexander Yotsev and Denitsa Dincheva. It is possible that the orders for their appointment will be signed today.
The deputies’ agenda also includes consideration of a draft amendment and supplement to the Internal Rules for the work of the Commission on Agriculture, Food and Forestry; approval of the Draft Law for the ratification of the Protocol to amend the Agreement on the establishment of the International Vine and Wine Organization; discussion of a draft amendment to the Law on the Management of the Agri-Food Chain.
