Allergies are common to most of us. One can’t stand peanuts, the other gets a rash from certain detergents and many people are currently walking around with a runny nose due to the pollen season. According to Sciensano, about 10% of Belgians suffer from an allergy to tree pollen and no less than 18% have a grass pollen allergy. Hay fever is therefore widespread, that much is clear.
