There will not be more spectacular in Île de France this weekend. The 22 best high-flying divers in the world will challenge themselves in front of the Eiffel Tower during Red Bull Cliff Diving. The men will jump from a platform 27 meters above the Seine and the women from 21 meters. Launched at 85 km/h, they will perform acrobatics to obtain the best possible score from the jury. After a successful first edition last year, Red Bull is once again organizing its event in the capital and is hoping for 40 to 50 thousand spectators. It will be possible to come and observe the athletes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for free. Meet at Port Debilly, opposite the Eiffel Tower.

This will be the second stage of the championship after the one that took place in Boston on June 3. The Romanian Constantin Popovici won in the men’s category and the Australian Rhiannan Iffland did the same in the women’s. In Paris in 2022 it was another Romanian, Catalin Preda, who won while Rhiannan Iffland was already raising his arms. On the French side it will be necessary to have an eye on Gary Hunt (39 years old). Second in the capital last year, the Franco-British, ten times final winner of Red Bull Cliff Diving, will arrive with the desire for revenge. Among the women, we can count on Madeleine Bayon (25) who will participate in her very first competition organized by Red Bull.
