The zonal puja will be held at Sabarimala this evening

According to the Devasam Board, the revenue during the zonal puja in Sabarimala has increased many times over last year as the zonal puja ends today.

Strict restrictions were imposed on Sabarimala last year due to the spread of the corona. Thus only 8 crore rupees was earned. But from November 15 to December 25 this year, the revenue has increased to 78 crore 92 lakh rupees. 31 crore from the sale of Aravan and Rs. 3.5 crore from the sale of bread. Devotees have also donated Rs 29 crore.

Similarly, the number of pilgrims has increased during the festival. So far 10,35,000 people have visited Sami Darshan. Up to a maximum of 43,000 visits per day. The number of devotees is expected to increase further ahead of the Lantern Festival. The temple walk will be reopened at 5 pm on December 30 for the Capricorn Lantern Puja, as the zonal puja is over and the evening procession will begin.
