São Paulo tied with Botafogo, 2-2, this Thursday (15), for the first match of the semifinal of the Brazilian Women’s Sub-20, at the Gabriel Marques Silva stadium, in Santana de Parnaíba. The goals were scored by Amaral and Flávia.
To play the first semifinal match, coach Douglas Matsumoto selected the team with Nanda; Ravena, Barraca, Ana Beatriz and Gi; GG, Carol and Ana Júlia; Amaral, Mi and Flávia.
Playing at home, the team from São Paulo did not take long to open the scoring and got the advantage at the beginning of the game with Amaral, who dribbled the goalkeeper to score the first goal of the afternoon. But just before the break the team conceded the equalizing goal.
On the way back to the second stage, Tricolor was again ahead on the scoreboard with a few minutes of the ball rolling. Flávia scored and put São Paulo at an advantage. Shortly afterwards, Botafogo converted a penalty and left everything the same.
Next Thursday (22), the under-20 team will face Botafogo again, at 3 pm, in the Jilton Santos certificate, to define a place in the final of the competition.
