Gino Mäder in serious condition after falling down a ravine in the Tour of Switzerland – International Cycling

Cycling is known to be one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Today Gino Mäder, a Bahrain Victorious rider who fell down a ravine during stage 5 of the Tour of Switzerland, had to suffer it himself.

According to the team statement, the rider was quickly assisted by the race doctor. He was found unconscious and had to be resuscitated on the spot to be airlifted to the Hospital where further tests will be carried out.
