SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Auren Energia (BVMF:) signed the assignment of all credit rights arising from the court agreement with the Union for compensation for the Três Irmãos hydroelectric plant, the company said in a material fact this Friday.
The payment of approximately 4.2 billion reais to Cesp (BVMF:), Auren’s subsidiary, will be made after compliance with precedent and market conditions, said the document, with a deadline of June 29.
The CFO of the renewable generator, Mario Bertoncini, said in February that he would seek to anticipate receivables, and that the securitization operation would take place by the middle of this year.
