This time the tournament took place under the motto “Against Nazis, against racism and against war! Against the incipient environmental catastrophe!”
At the beginning, all those who did not agree with these demands were asked to leave – no one went. “Friendship in competition!” was always in the foreground – and so this self-organized tournament was enthusiastic for all participants and spectators. It was also a benefit tournament: a surplus of more than 700 euros goes to the Friends of Refugee Solidarity – with the express request that the money be used to enable refugee children to take part in this year’s summer camp of the youth association REBELL (more here). Another portion goes to the Last Generation Legal Aid Fund to help fight their criminalization.
