Speaking at the opening of the conference, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that despite being a country with diverse natural landscapes and cultural identities, compared to many countries in the region, Vietnam has not yet attracted much crew foreign; The promotion of destinations through cinematographic works still stops at a few small examples, not really exploiting the potential effectively.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung suggested Khanh Hoa province soon build, complete and effectively implement mechanisms and policies to attract investment in cinema and tourism in an urgent and sustainable manner; businesses, investors and relevant units under the Ministry to promote cooperation in linking cinema with tourism promotion; it is necessary to solve and remove obstacles, to develop appropriate mechanisms and policies; With the cooperation of all levels, sectors, localities, investors, film activists, ideas for the development of Vietnam’s tourism brand through cinema, projects were awarded and decided. Investment or meetings, looking for investment opportunities at the conference is the first step for large investment flows from home and abroad to Khanh Hoa as well as other localities of Vietnam in the coming time.

Many delegates at the conference said that Khanh Hoa is a potential convergence, an attractive destination for domestic and international investors to develop tourism combined with cinema.
