Parliamentarians from more than sixty countries approved a new World Parliamentary Pact to combat hunger on Friday in Valparaíso. The UN warns that in 2021 more than 800 million people were struck by hunger. Women are much more affected than men. The transformation of food systems will be key to reducing hunger and malnutrition.
