Kaya: In Myanmar, a military vehicle was attacked and set on fire by the military. More than 30 people, including children, were burnt to death.
The military seized power in neighboring Myanmar in February. Moreover, there was great excitement as all the political party leaders were placed under house arrest.

The people of the country have been engaged in sporadic protests against the military rule. The military has also launched attacks against such protesters, calling them separatists. The army opened fire on some vehicles in the province of Kaya here last night, killing more than 30 people, including children. The vehicles were then set on fire by soldiers. Photos of the bodies found charred spread on social media. Meanwhile, Save the Children, a non-governmental organization, has announced that it will suspend operations in Kaya province.

Two of the organization’s employees are said to have taken the action because they were paralyzed after an attack by the military.
