You shoot a dance music festival
Two people killed and three wounded is the toll of the shooting that took place in the Gorge, two hundred kilometers east of Seattle, Wash., near an electronic dance music festival. The shooting began on Saturday evening around 8.30 pm in the area of the Gorge Amphitheater, the amphitheater that hosts a two-day festival, called Beyond Wonderland.
A man started shooting at some people who were in a camp a few hundred meters from the amphitheater. The shots sparked panic. The man tried to escape but was injured and then arrested by the police. Today’s programming of the festival has been cancelled. The reason for the attack is not yet clear.
Underage killer at a party in Missouri
A young man was killed and nine others were injured in another shooting that occurred in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, during a private party in a building. The killer is 17 years old and has been arrested. “On this Father’s Day – declared the police chief, Robert Tracy – all of St. Louis woke up to the news of another shooting”. “It’s every parent’s worst nightmare – he added – my thoughts go to the victim’s family”.
The boy, whose name was not given, was the same age as the one who killed him. The injured are between 15 and 19 years old. Violence exploded during a party organized to celebrate Juneteenth, the day dedicated in the USA to the end of African American slavery and which officially falls tomorrow, June 19th.
For unclear reasons, someone started shooting at dozens of people. The wounded, including two in serious condition, were taken to four hospitals.
