The French National Olympic Committee (CNOSF) will meet this Friday, June 23 and will give its opinion on the incidents of the Bordeaux-Rodez match during the last day of Ligue 2. Recall that a Bordeaux supporter had jostled Rodez player Lucas Buades . On June 12, the Disciplinary Committee of the National League delivered a first verdict by giving the match lost to Bordeaux. A sanction which deprives the club of an immediate rise in Ligue 1.
Another sentence: the Girondins will start the 2023-2024 financial year with one point less and the southern stand of the Matmut-Atlantique will be closed for two firm matches and two others suspended. The club appealed this decision to the CNOSF Bordeaux “to defend its rights and sporting fairness”.
According to information from the team, the CNOSF hearing is scheduled for Friday, June 23 at 11:30 a.m. A decision should be made a few days later, early next week.
