The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Los Angeles campus launched the call for a completely online English pronunciation course, especially for people who want to improve their oral expression in this language.
The institution indicated that the Puma Summer course is open to the public, so it is not necessary to be a student or teacher to enter.
In these special classes at UNAM Los Angeles, the sounds of English will be studied, both in isolated words and in context, as specified on its website.
The classes are taught online through the WebEx platform, but if the student could not connect in time, they can watch the recording later.
The Puma Summer course will start next Tuesday, July 4, to Thursday, August 3, 2023. Classes will be held two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 4:00 p.m., City time. Mexico.
The Californian campus indicated that the intensive classes are taught with specialized teachers and in small groups, to focus more on each student.
The cost of the UNAM Summer Puma course to improve English pronunciation is US$160, which is equivalent to about 3,200 Mexican pesos.
If the payment is made in the United States, it can be made with a bank deposit or in cash at the UNAM offices located in the city of Los Angeles, California. People who are outside the country can make the payment by credit or debit card.
“Once the payment is made, there is no refund, unless the course is canceled for reasons beyond the student’s control,” says the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
To enter the institution’s online course, all you need is to register on the UNAM website.
You must fill out the registration form for the online pronunciation course and then complete the payment. Afterwards you will receive a welcome letter, but you will have to wait a few days to receive your access codes to the system.
At least five students are needed to open a group of the intensive classes of Summer Puma 2023.
