A study conducted by Q’Sai revealed the secret of Japanese centenarians over the age of 100 enjoying good health and longevity.

According to the study of 100 centenarians, slightly more than half of them attributed reasons for good health to diet, such as eating three meals a day and eating lots of vegetables.

And 36 of those surveyed considered that the secret lies in staying optimistic and focusing on “future thinking rather than negative thinking,” according to the “Japan in Arabic” website.

The study stated that the three most important foods that healthy Japanese centenarians eat every day are rice, vegetables and dairy products, while many people used to eat rice to get the energy the body needs, vegetables as a rich source of vitamins and minerals, and dairy products for calcium to strengthen teeth and bones.

And about the lifestyle, the centenarians answered that they exercised more than 30 minutes a day, and said that they have a physical sense of being 89.9 years old and a mental feeling of being 83.3 years old, although these two ages are younger than the actual age by more than 10 years.

Japan has the largest number of elderly people in the world, as the number of people over the age of 100 continues to increase year on year.. and in 2021 their number reached 86,510 people.
