In another Group A match in qualifying for the European Championship, Scotland consolidated first place with a victory by 2-0 against Georgia, which remains in second place in the classification.

In a duel between the top two in the group, the Scots entered the game on the right foot as, in the sixth minute, Callum McGregor opened the scoring, putting his team in advantage.
