In another Group A match in qualifying for the European Championship, Scotland consolidated first place with a victory by 2-0 against Georgia, which remains in second place in the classification.

In a duel between the top two in the group, the Scots entered the game on the right foot as, in the sixth minute, Callum McGregor opened the scoring, putting his team in advantage.

However, shortly afterwards… the match was interrupted, due to the enormous amount of rain that was felt, especially on the pitch, forcing the referee to interrupt the game for long periods of time.

After the storm, the bonanza: in the resumption of the changing rooms, Scott McTominay moved the marker again and again in favor of Scotland, who were calm as the match went on, something that happened until the final whistle.

The victory!

In the other match of the night, Norway and Cyprus met forces, and the Nordics won with a triumph by 3-1with goals from Ola Solbakken and Erling Haaland (x2) making the difference.

With Frederik Aursnes in the starting line-up, Norway dominated the entire first half, taking the lead in the 12th minute, with Alexander Sorloth assisting Ola Solbakken.

In the second half, Erling Haaland (who else?) put an end to the result with two accurate shots in a few minutes. Thus, after three meetings, Norway added the first three points in Group A, after two defeats and a draw in this walk.
