Six days after the birth of Thieu (1), his parents were diagnosed: their son has a congenital cytomegalovirus infection. An unpronounceable, but quite common disease in children in Flanders. And yet there is little reliable information available about it. Thieu’s parents want to change that together with fellow sufferers.
