Ramon Menezes, who coaches the under-20 team, explained that he still doesn’t know if he will temporarily remain in charge of the main team. CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues is expected to announce in the coming weeks the planning for an interim technical commission until Ancelotti arrives.
“Now, at this moment, I stop to rest. I will wait for the president to contact me, to sit down, to talk, to see my position within the CBF and always with the aim of helping. I think that’s part of my personality, which is courage. I’m here to help the Brazilian team. Whenever the president needs it, I will be available”, said Ramon.
The Brazilian team will play again in September, for the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, against Bolivia and Peru.
