This course has come to an end and now the two summer months are being used to undertake improvements and necessary actions in the centers. A total of 12,952 students of all educational levels They will finish the 2022/2023 school year tomorrow, Thursday, June 22, according to data provided by the municipal Education delegation.
On the municipal side, contacts have already been made with the directors of the Infant and Primary schools, in which in some cases perimeter painting work has already been carried out, to plan the improvement and maintenance actions that will be carried out during the summer season, dependent on the Improvement Plan, for an amount of 1.5 million euros, which will affect practically all the centers of the municipality.
From Education The normality that has characterized the development of the academic year is underlined, as well as the execution of works for the reform and repair of centers, which will continue throughout the coming months.
On the other hand, the Department of Education has convened for next Wednesday, June 28, an ordinary session of the Municipal School Council, to be held in the facilities of the Center for Teachers.
MAINTENANCE TASKS
The agenda for the meeting contemplates the presentation to the directors and representatives of centers of a final report on the maintenance carried out in schools, in addition to the existing forecasts with a view to the summer months for the execution of works dependent on the Improvement and Maintenance Plan, which has already begun in some centers with perimeter painting jobs.
During the council, a draft memory of the Municipal Educational Offer, which is now coming to an end, in addition to the existing provisions for school services such as cleaning and janitors.
Finally, on the morning of this Wednesday, technical personnel from the municipal Education office have continued with the visits to the schools scheduled last week, with the aim of coordinating with the centers’ addresses the work to be carried out in the summer season, which will cover both the improvement of interior spacespainting and maintenance.
