As of this Thursday, June 22, the basic level classes will be at a distance due to the high temperatures that have affected the territory of Coahuila.

The determination was made this Wednesday by the Secretary of Education and Health and given the proximity of concluding the 2022-2023 school year.

According to both dependencies, the students of the basic level of the public schools will take distance classes with online work or reinforcement booklets.

Regarding private schools, they will make agreements with parents if they continue to work in person or remotely.

The determination was made after a meeting of the Secretary of Education, Francisco Saracho Navarro, with the educational structure of the basic level, where the importance of concluding the school year in time and form without affecting student learning or their physical integrity transcended.

With regard to the end-of-course ceremonies, if they are scheduled outdoors, they must be held in shaded places and avoid taking them from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and that the events on the program be brief.

As for the Basic Education Sports Games, to be held next week, they are cancelled.
