Partner Group and Rafek Energy have established a venture to market electricity to business customers

by time news

The communications group Partner and Rafek Energy announced yesterday the establishment of a project to market electricity to business customers. Three months ago, a similar publication was published by the Bezeq Group. Such a move was made six months ago by Cellcom and an energy company, when the Hot Group also announced a similar move.

Partner & Energy’s new venture is underway under the Power logo, and has begun piloting smart business customers. Partner and Rafek Energy announced the project after receiving a license from the Ministry of Energy to supply electricity to private and business customers, and after the communications group examined a number of models for developing activities in the field.

Partner has over 3 million private and business subscribers, who make daily use of the company’s communications services, mobile, Internet and television.
Energy Power, which is controlled by Genershein Capital and Communication Communications, operates five power plants with a cumulative volume of about 1 gigawatt. The company has a wide range of customers in the field of industry and commerce.

The various projects for electricity supply are based, among other things, on the ability to install smart meters in homes or businesses that will enable the supply of electricity at times when electricity tariffs are reduced, thus bringing about a 10% reduction in electricity tariffs.
