The public bank BanEcuador opened an auction process for 15 lots “at opportunity prices,” according to a statement from the entity. The auctions will take place from July 6 to 20, 2023. The entity will auction off land located in Guayas, Manabí, Azuay, Chimborazo and Sucumbíos. Land at good prices.

Situation. These are assets that are in the possession of BanEcuador, due to collection actions from clients who have not paid their debts. In the auction catalog of this bank, the cheapest land is one of 265 square meters, located in the canton of El Empalme, in Guayas, which is sold at a base price of $7,286, and will be auctioned on July 13.

Reality. And the most expensive good is a piece of land in a hacienda, in Penipe of 105,584 square meters. The auction is scheduled for July 6 with a base price of $822,511. Those interested have to register on the auction website of the National Financial Corporation (CFN), which works together with BanEcuador in these processes. The next step is to choose the asset that interests you the most in the virtual catalog and propose the amount you are willing to pay.

The offer is made online, but the payment must be made at a BanEcuador window. There are two payment methods. One is cash, in which you must deposit at least 10% of the value of the total amount you are willing to pay. If your offer is selected, you will have to pay the remaining 90% in cash. The second option is the term modality, in which 15% of the value of the asset must be paid.
