The program RESTART CULTURE was increased from 1 billion to 2 billion euros and the special fund “cultural events” has a volume of 2.5 billion euros. Both pots can be used up completely by the end of 2022. The restart aid from the Federal Ministry of Economics, which is endowed with a monthly support of 1500 euros, is now also valid for temporary employees in the performing arts.
