San Salvador. The gymnast Alexa Grande, Paola Ruano and Isabela Chávez, work hard on technical details at the Merliot Sports Center with a view to participating in the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

The routines of the selected artistic gymnastics on beam, floor, vault, uneven bars and horse, among others, are under the direction of the coach Wendy de Águila, who aspires to a high score in the different apparatus of this sport, with the only objective of “representing our country well,” said the coach.

Alexa Grande is very motivated to participate for the third time in the Central American and Caribbean Games, after those of Veracruz 2014 and Barranquilla 2018, since her goal is to “reach the final to seek a medal”, a motivation that is also shared by Isabela Chávez and Paola Ruano, in every routine they rehearse.

“We are working hard on execution, teamwork and concentration, which is important. I hope to represent the country well and give my best effort”, said Isabela Chávez, who will compete in her first regional games.
