Australia had a lead of just 82 runs in the first innings. Marcus Harris was the only opener to score 76 runs for Australia. James Anderson took 4 wickets for England.
David Warner is Australia’s second highest scorer with 38 runs. Australia, who were 219 for eight, had the last two wickets in hand. Cummins scored 21 while Starc remained unbeaten on 24.
England were all out for 185 in the first innings. Captain Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon led the way with three wickets apiece, while the other bowlers were in the wicket column. Only Joe Root (50) and Johnny Bairstow (35) have done well for England.
