The announcement that had been made of the arrival in Guinea of ​​an important joint ECOWAS-AU-UNOWAS mission, headed by the ECOWAS mediator on the Guinean crisis, the Former President of Benin, H/E Dr Thomas Boni YAYI , had been welcomed by the Forum des Forces Sociales de Guinée (FFSG), with some hope, because it constituted in itself, during this period of suspension of street demonstrations by the Forces Vives de Guinée, a means of initiating a real inclusive dialogue and constructive, in support of the efforts of the country’s religious.

But very unfortunately, believing that it naively derives a certain political dividend from the benevolence of ECOWAS, which it considers to be the latter’s weakness in its mediation approaches, with possible diplomatic tricks, the CNRD, despite the weight of its management against the national consensus and the stability of the country, behaves as absolute master, who can speak when he wants, with whom he wants and under the conditions he wants.

However, despite strong concerns that remain persistent, faced with the stalemate of the Guinean crisis and the accommodation to this state of affairs of the sub-regional institution, by way of subsidiarity, the international community, the Forum of Social Forces of Guinea (FFSG), believes that we could still give ECOWAS and its mediator, H/E Dr Thomas Boni YAYI, and therefore the international community, the benefit of the doubt to help the people of Guinea reconnect with democratic principles and well-being through an objective and diligent return to constitutional order.

It is for this reason that the Forum des Forces Sociales de Guinée (FFSG), in a spirit of resilience in the face of the current multidimensional misery experienced by the people of Guinea, invites the ECOWAS mediator to make a courageous and objective reading the current situation in the country with the support of experts (ECOWAS-AU-UN), for appropriate measures.

Such measures, such as giving up the apron, if they feel abandoned by their constituents or limited in their mission, could help the people of Guinea to situate the evil, to better prepare themselves to take on their responsibility as an orphan of international relations. in transition management.

Consequently, the Forum of Social Forces of Guinea (FFSG) invites all socio-political and professional actors in the country, as well as the CNRD in the forefront, to get out of subversive agendas, resignation and the race for easy gains of the transition, to integrate into the conduct of the transition the socio-political, economic and cultural realities of the country in compliance with the laws, rights and international commitments of Guinea.
