Orxa Energies has started production of the rugged looking Mantis electric bike model. It will go on sale by the end of this year.
Launched in 2019, the Arxa Mantis is confirmed to be a powerful model with a sleek design and a range of 200 km.

Arxa Energies has set up its first factory in Bengaluru in a one-acre plant capable of manufacturing 20,000 electric Mantis bikes per year. The company’s research and development activities also accommodate a Mantis assembly station, a battery assembly line and a product testing center.
Arxa Energies is leveraging its strong engineering capabilities to vastly improve the automotive technology and manufacturing and assembly methods used in Arxa motorcycles.
Arxa e-motorcycle maker Mantis Bike packs a 9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that churns out a maximum power of 28 kW and torque of 105 Nm. It is claimed to reach a top speed of 140km/hr and a maximum range of 200km on a single charge.
The model is said to require 4 hours or less for a full charge with six removable batteries.
As the company plans to allow customers to test drive the bike with track days in various major cities, the booking is done on the company’s website.
It could go on sale in late 2023 or early 2024 with immediate delivery.
