The man from Madrid Victor Orta has been announced this Tuesday as the new sports director of the Sevilla FCwhere he already served as technical secretary between 2006 and 2013, for the next three seasons, according to a statement issued by the club.

“Sevilla FC has signed an agreement with Víctor Orta so that he becomes the person in charge of Sevilla’s sports management for the next three seasons,” the Seville entity reported about its new sports director, who will be presented this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.

Víctor Orta began his career as a sports director in 2005, when he was offered by Real Valladolid. A year later, led by ‘Monchi’, whom he now replaces after his departure to English Aston Villa, he joined Sevilla as technical secretary. In that first stage at the Nervión club, he won two UEFA Cups, one European Super Cup, two Copas del Rey and one Spanish Super Cup with the first team.
