Las Tunas.- With the premise of consolidating the link with society and guaranteeing an inclusive and quality education, the University Congress 2024 took place at the Casa de Altos Estudios in the province, a prelude to the international event, to be held in the country’s capital , in February of the coming calendar.
More than 80 presentations, grouped into seven symposia, summarized the scientific-investigative work of the academic institution that, on its 28th anniversary, stands as one of the bastions of local scientific activity.
In the seven symposiums, professors and students analyzed and debated aspects related to the quality, relevance, and internationalization of university processes and their digital transformation, professional training, and university extension work.
Other debates revolved around the role of student and union organizations and the links of the University with the production and services sector in the territory.
The best works will participate in the University 2024 Congress, which will take place from February 5 to 9 of next year in the country’s capital, a space for scientific exchange, confrontation and exhibition of the most relevant results of Higher Education in Cuba and the world.
