India is becoming the most important market in the world for electric vehicle sales. The main reason for this is that people are becoming more interested in using electric vehicles due to rising fuel prices. In this context, One-Moto has introduced the electric scooter ‘Electa’ in the Indian market.
One-Moto, a British company, entered the Indian market last month with two electric scooters, the Commuta and the Byka. In this position it has now introduced a third vehicle in the Indian market.
What are its highlights?
‘Electa’ is launching in the market with new technologies in an old-fashioned style. Features include Geo Fencing, Bluetooth connectivity, IoT, Maintenance Alerts, Riding Behavior and many more. It has a 45 AH lithium-ion battery (removable battery pack) and a 4 kW (5.36 bhp) DC hub motor. It can travel up to 150 km on a single charge. It can be ridden at a maximum speed of 100 km per hour. It is reported that the battery can be charged in just four hours.
One-Moto India has announced that bookings for the ‘Electa’ have begun. It is said to be available for sale from next February. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.99 lakh.
