Singer Paul McCartney responded to criticism of the use of artificial intelligence in the recording of the song. His words are quoted by The Guardian, reports Day.Az with reference to Gazeta.ru.

“We were able to take John’s voice [Леннона] and make it clean with this artificial intelligence. Then we mixed the record, as usual,” the musician explained.

McCartney assured that the composition was created by members of The Beatles, and artificial intelligence only helped to recreate some fragments. According to the artist, “nothing was created artificially.”

The Beatles co-founder Paul McCartney said a few days ago that artificial intelligence (AI) helped finish the band’s last song. He clarified that the song will be released in 2023.

The musician did not say what song he was talking about, but journalists believe that this is a recording of Lennon’s “Now And Then”, dating from 1978. The Beatles planned to introduce it back in 1995, but the late George Harrison was against the publication. The song was part of a demo given to McCartney by Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono in 1980.
