Stone (NASDAQ:) reported this Friday, the 23rd, that its Finance Vice President and Investor Relations Director, Rafael Martins, will leave the company as of July 31 of this year. He will be replaced as head of RI by Mateus Scherer, who is already Vice President of Finance.
“We would like to thank Rafael for his invaluable contributions to the company over the past six years”, says Stone CEO Pedro Zinner in a note, highlighting Martins’ role in processes such as Stone’s IPO and the acquisition of Linx (BVMF:). “Rafael will continue to be a close adviser to Stone on different matters.”
In addition, the company announced that Roberta Noronha was hired as director of Investor Relations, a position she will hold as of Monday, the 26th. With more than 15 years of experience in this area, the executive has worked at companies such as C&A (BVMF: ) Brazil, Iguatemi (BVMF:) and Cielo (BVMF:).
It’s a new round of changes at Stone’s top leadership since Zinner took over the company in April. In May, the company announced the promotion of Scherer to CFO, replacing the interim Silvio Morais, and the departure of the president, Augusto Lins, from executive functions as of June 1st.
Coming from Eneva (BVMF:), from the energy sector, Zinner took over Stone in place of Thiago Piau, and has the flag of building a long-term vision of the market about the company, after the exit from a strong crisis that started in 2021 for losses in granting credit.
