This Saturday June 24th the Civil national police, reported through its social networks that as a result of a search carried out by investigators from the Vehicle Theft and Theft Section in coordination with personnel from the Public Ministry (MP), it was possible to locate 19 recent model vehicles with reports of theft and alteration of license plates.
The police report details that the cars were in the neighborhood El Carmen, zone 10 of the municipality of Santa Catarina Pinula, located 15 kilometers from the capital city. In addition, the authorities also indicate that the cars are Kia and Hyundai brands.

According to the National Civil Police, the vehicles found were mostly stolen at armed hands by a criminal structure that operates in the areas 5, 6, 11, 13, 18 y 25as well as in the municipalities of Villa Nueva, Mixco, San José Pinula and Santa Catarina Pinula, and the department of San Marcos.
Among the reports it can be mentioned that one of these vehicles was stolen on October 20, 2022 in the department of San Marcos.
