The playmaker moves from Boulogne-Levallois to Le Mans. He signed for a season in the Sarthe.
Teammate of Victor Wembanyama last season, DeVante Jones will continue his adventure in France. He signed up for a season at Le Mans. The American, holder since the start during the season, will experience his second experience in France.
This is the 7th element of the MSB’s professional workforce. Léopold Delaunay, Selom Mawugbe, Williams Narace, Abdoulaye Ndoye, D’Shawn Schwartz and Wilfried Yeguete are the other summer recruits, on the Sarthe side.
Coach Elric Delord reacted to Jones’ arrival: “DeVante is a true playmaker who plays both ends of the court. When we talk about a true leader, we are talking about a player who thinks about playing his team to bring it to victory. He is a complete player, who alternates the game between his own aggressiveness and his ability to step aside if necessary. Team leader, he is a key element of the success of the Mets last year.
