Since the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, several items related to the ship have been recovered. Whether from survivors of the tragedy or from the vessel itself, historic belongings were auctioned for millionaire values, as is the case with the pocket watch belonging to Edmund Stone, a first-class flight attendant on the ship.
The clock stopped working at 2:16 am, possibly at the exact moment when Stone fell into the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2008, the watch sold for £130,000.
