On the afternoon of this Thursday, June 22, the Uranga’s Collections Local Development Project, located in Old Havana, received the writers Ángela Oramas and Sofía Chiquetts, authors of beautiful stories that are part of the book “For brave girls and boys”. dedicated to the theme of disability through the figure of animals.
In order to make the moment more attractive, the oral storytellers Beatriz Quintana and Lavinia Ascue interpreted some of the stories and riddles to interact with the children present.
A pleasant meeting was held in the company of some mothers and children from the community, members of the “Narrarte” Project, teachers and directors of the Abel Santamaría Special School and specialists in Comprehensive Child Care.
Before finishing, some of those present gave their opinion on the stories and their emotional teachings.
