The 4th edition of the African Cup of Nations for the under-23s, CAN-U23 will be held in Morocco from June 24 until July 8, 2023. In group A with Ghana and Congo, Guinea will play the opening match against the host country on Saturday at the Moulay-Abdallah sports complex in Rabat from 10 p.m. To face this competition, the coach of Syli-U23, Morlaye Cissé chose 23 players, including Aguibou Camara, Seydouba Cissé and Algassime Bah.
While in Morocco, the president of the Committee for Standardization at the head of the Guinean Football Federation, Feguifoot went to the headquarters of Syli U-23 in Rabat. Mariama Diallo Sy encouraged the players before asking them to proudly represent Guinea in this competition.
As for the CAN-U23 program, eight teams will compete in sixteen matches over the two weeks of competition. Except on the day of the opening match, the group stages will be played with two matches per day and on June 25 which will have three matches with an off day. The dates and times for the semi-finals, the match for third place and the final have not been communicated at this time. The final will take place on July 8.
