On July 14, for the traditional aerial parade on the Champs-Élysées, all eyes will be on the sky. But this ballet, always executed with meticulousness, is prepared well in advance. A month earlier, first training at the Vélizy-Villacoublay air base (Yvelines). Objective of the day: global tracking and “recognition of the axes” for the 55 airmen mobilized, including 35 first-timers.
