Perhaps science is one of those branches of knowledge that plays on both sides. On one hand, it is essential to understand the world, facilitate the lives of the people who inhabit the planet and educate to create critical and educated consciences. On the other, it continues to be a far area for many people, with difficult, dense, overwhelming and even boring knowledge. In order to fight against this double facet and make science more accessible and entertaining for different types of audiences, science outreach and communication groups were created, as is the case of Big Van Science.

Since 2013, this group of scientists and experts in transmitting information in an easy and unique way, work to make science more affordable, putting into practice endless resources and disciplines: getting on stage, speaking on the radio, collaborating on television programs, writing books, offering training workshops… And both in Spain and in the rest of Europe and Latin America!

With the firm belief that science, built from cooperation and equality, should be the main tool for the progress of mankind, firmly defend the principles of responsible research and innovation. In his own words: “no one should be left out of the benefits offered by new scientific advances”
