Ouagadougou, June 27, 2023(AIB)-The Combatant Forces have fought fiercely in recent hours which have allowed them to inflict casualties on terrorists and take their revenge in Namsiguia in the Center-North, AIB has learned.
Hundreds of terrorists launched an attack against the Combatant Forces on Monday around 4 a.m. at a temporary parking lot in Noaka, in the Center-North.
The response made it possible to kill several dozen terrorists and recover important logistics including motorcycles, Kalashnikovs, pkms, rocket launchers, means of transmission and night vision goggles.
On Monday, in the middle of the day, in Namsiguia, the Combatant Forces returning from a supply mission to Djibo, courageously faced an ambush set by a thousand assailants.
The bravery of the boys made it possible to neutralize several dozen terrorists on the spot.
Other criminals were killed in their retreat a few places from Djibo.
During the day on Tuesday, bands of hungry terrorists returned to the scene of the ambush to loot the trucks damaged in the fighting. The aerial vectors exterminated them.
In a statement sent Tuesday evening to the AIB, the army saluted the memory of the fallen boys and the courage of their brothers in arms.
According to AIB sources, operations are continuing on several fronts to bring peace.
