Ernesto Giraldes, lawyer for the relatives of the former controller of Banco Fassil, Carlos Alberto Colodro, informed EL DEBER that he is waiting for the Prosecutor’s Office to deliver the copies of the unfolding he made to the eight security cameras, which the 15th floor of the Ambassador building haslocated in the Equipetrol area of the Santa Cruz capital.
“I requested a copy of the security cameras, but we still don’t have the result. The splitting was carried out, we requested the copies so that we can verify, with the family, in order (to see) if there is any abnormality,” Giraldes said in telephone contact with this journalistic house.
The lawyer assured that, among the eight security cameras, also is the one that faces the balcony; however, he observed that, precisely in this last case, the Public Ministry told him that there is no recording, since the balcony camera was not in position, which they attribute to the bad weather that day.
“I cannot confirm that situation, until together with the family we see the eight cameras,” he said.
Giraldes stated that they have not yet been notified by the Prosecutor’s Office, but he hopes that the copies are delivered to you between Thursday or Friday of this weekin order to analyze them and see what happened that rainy night of May 27, when the death of the then controller of Banco Fassil was known.
In a previous interview with EL DEBER, Giraldes confirmed that on the balcony of the 15th floor, from where Colodro fell, there are two cameraswhich contradicts the information from the Minister of Government and the director of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), Gustavo Astilla, who indicated that there were no images of that balcony, due to the lack of a camera in place.
Along with this copy, the lawyer indicated that he is awaiting the results of the second expertise, which consists of the shoe prints that Colodro had that dayto analyze them with those found on the balcony.
There are 64 cameras from which files were seized and they were previously analyzed by the Institute of Scientific Technical Research of the Police University (Iitcup).
